Part of an official press statement prepared by Albert Chop and Colonel Wendell Smith (Current Intelligence Office Branch, Deputy Chief of Staff, Intelligence USAF) stated that the Newhouse Utah UFO film "could not be produced under simulated conditions_"
Description of object /s : 3 pulsing lights about a mile away. Stayed for several minutes. Moved up, down, sideways then streaked away upward. Remember like it was yesterday.
My experience Sighting Event Details: I was riding my motorcycle home from a high school dance about 11-12 at night. As I left the town of Roosevelt I saw these objects moving in the sky west of the highway. I stopped at the top of the first hill and leaned my bike on its kick stand, and sat on it while I watched three lighted objects to my west across the City Golf Course. The started higher in the sky then came down near the earth very quickly in a streak and then stopped abruptly and settled in one place for a few minutes and then they shot to the right on a level pattern and then jumped upward several thousand feet instantly and then stopped again and then shot back to the left....they did this several times in different patterns and then just zipped upward in a streak out of sight. I wanted them to stay and come closer so I could see what was in the light...I knew what I had seen and I never told anyone for a long time that I remember....later I told my parents...I think after returning from an LDS mission.
Phenomenon visible for how long? About 10 minutes....it could have been longer.
Height / Altitude of Object: Came to within a few hundred feet of the ground then up to several thousand feet I would estimate...then sideways fast enough to cause the light to blur and create streaking like on a camera when a picture
Distance of Object from your Position: About a mile...it may have been less.
Estimated Size of Object: Too far to really be accurate. They looked like they were small but could have been much larger and further away than I could tell.

In September 1967 my husband, myself, and our three daughters were living at a ranch his family owns in the high mountains in Utah. We didn't have electricity or a phone or even running water. We slept in one cabin and used another about 70 feet away for a kitchen.
At about 2:30am my youngest cried so I took her empty bottle to the other cabin to fill it. On the way back I looked up and saw a huge saucer like object with lights that just melted from one color to another. It was awesome but it scared me to death. I ran in the cabin locked the door gave the baby her bottle, tried to go back to sleep and couldn't. So I went back outside and looked up. It was still there and not a sound in the whole canyon. I watched it for a few minutes to see if it was moving or anything but I couldn't see any movement. I went back in the cabin and went to bed and to sleep. Never told anyone one for a long time.
I think seeing it changed me a lot. I'm a different person than I would have been without this happening. I have seen many over the years both daytime and night time. My children have all seen them many times I don't understand. I'm always searching for an answer but no one seems to know anymore basically than I do. Often here 13 miles from the first sighting I see bright large starlike lights then in just a few seconds they shrink and are gone. Could it be we are near a passage to another universe to see so much activity?
Description of object /s : Bright, reflective light, as if the sun were reflecting off the sirface of a metal sphere
Sighting Event Details: I was sitting on my porch reading the newspaper and seen them against the mountain. I went in and got my mon's binoculars and studied them closly, but no matter how much they moved, I could only see a very bright reflection--I questioned they were helicopters except the reflection was always steady as they explored clifts and the side of the mountain (above Springlake Utah) in a way which reminded me of wasps flying around a centerblock wall with various nests built into the holes in the motar. (I have wanted to hike up there but I haven't dared to!)I would say there were around eight of them, sometimes they would dissapear behind a ridge in the mountain, then re-appear, they gradually all dissapeared. My wintness was walking down the sidewalk, I gave him the binoculars and he was equally baffled. He has since moved to california and I dont know his location. - NOTE: I have watched the area since (over 30 years) and seen nothing.

The object was observed by two dry farm kids that were irrigating alfalfa in the wee morning hours ages 11 & 16 at the time, Brother & Sister, The craft was approx 200ft directly over them , blocked out entire sky, Took between 20-30 minutes to pass over them.
Then proceeded to go over the Thiokol Rocket booster plant. The witness being only 11 at the time , now in his upper 40s estimated the size of the object based on land marks to be at least 1 mile , if not possibly 2 miles in length!, he now lives in Logan, Utah & has his own insurance business, as he is an outstanding citizen. regarding these large objects over the surface. I believe wholeheartedly it is worth the inquiry , because of the info & magnitude & significance of this occurence.
Businessman Paul Pedersen agreed to speak publicly for the first time about an event he says occurred in 1964. As Pedersen was leaving a neighbor's Emigration Canyon home early one morning, he noticed a huge oval-shaped craft in the sky above him.
"It drifted over and down and then hovered above the driveway," Pedersen said. "As it stood still, people inside came to the portholes and looked out at me. That kind of unnerved me because it was so dark I knew I couldn't be seen by human eyes. . . . They looked just like people. They were silhouetted against this green light in the background."
Pedersen then received a telepathic message from the beings. They asked if he'd like to come with them.
"It was one individual's voice," he said. "I didn't say anything but answered by thinking. My thought was that I can't leave, I have a wife and two children who depend on me. Their response was, 'That's OK,' and the craft just hovered up above the trees and went over the mountain behind me." 1996 Deseret News

I was in Beaver, Utah with two other teens, my cousins. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon on a warm cloudless summer day, we were going to Murdock's store to get a new drink called "cherry Shasta soda" and were walking in the street, they didn't have many sidewalks at that time, when some one looked up and said "whats that" and pointed to the sky, and it was about two or three treetops to the side of us, going very very fast when all of a sudden it stopped dead still in it's tracks and just hung there in the sky, well we were amazed, and said maybe it's a helicopter? but it was making no sound at all and just setting there in the sky, I don't remember an exact shape but it was bright silver colored and did seem to be round, not sure about that. Anyway I had a feeling it could hear us all talking about it and I think that is why it stopped, but it was way up in the sky, I had no idea how it could hear us. And all of a sudden it continued at the same speed it had been going when we first seen it, and in the same direction, "West" and then just as suddenly, made a 90 degree turn at that same speed, and went North up the main street in the sky. But another funny thing about it is that when we got home, my folks were worried about us and wanted to drive back to Cedar City, 50 miles away from Beaver, but we weren't there and it was dark when we got to the house in Beaver. but all I remember was that where we wanted to buy the "cherry Shasta soda" was only about two or three blocks away. It would have only taken us about an hour to walk that far and back. So I have no idea at all why it was dark when we got back home. And
we had started out about 2:00 that afternoon to walk three blocks.
"On the clear sunlit afternoon of July 12, 1947, Earl 'Skip' Page, his wife, Beulah, and their nine- year-old son, Ronald, were flying a two-seater (private plane) from Las Vegas (Nevada) to Salt Lake City" when they nearly collided with a squadron of UFOs high above Utah Lake.
"At roughly 3:30 p.m., a group of silver-colored, disc-shaped objects zipped past the Pages' plane, coming within 50 feet of the aircraft at the same altitude."
Fifty-one years later, Beulah, now 82, and Ronald, 60, vividly remember the encounter.
"'At first we thought it was birds. We just saw the movement,' Beulah, a Salt Lake native said in a telephone interview from her home in Olympia, Wash. 'My husband turned the plane to where they were going and they zoomed away like crazy. It got kind of scary when we turned toward their direction. They just disappeared.'"
"The entire sighting lasted only a few minutes. The Pages didn't notice markings, windows or even how many objects were in the cluster. Ronald thinks there might have been three."
"'There was definitely something there,' said Ronald, who was squeezed in between his parents but had a good view of the sky. 'Those were the days before we had jet airplanes or anything like that. I'd seen fighter aircraft in those days, but they weren't anything like what we saw.'"
Arriving in Salt Lake City, the Pages told their story to relatives and friends. But, fearing ridicule, they declined to share it with the media.
"'I remember it made them nauseous because they didn't know what it was,' said Marilyn Page, Beulah's niece, who lives in Wyoming. 'It was just something completely new they'd never seen. It was kind of a shock."
Earl Page was born in Bountiful, Utah in 1911. In 1943, he moved his family from Salt Lake City to Hanford, Washington to work as an electrical engineer at the USA's then-secret plutonium processing plant in Hanford, Washington state. Page was maintenance supervisor at Hanford when he died of a heart attack in 1960.

Description of object /s : red orange disks about the size of a quater if you held your arm out with your fingers apart.
My experience I was not there at the time but I have always been curious about a story my Dad told me about when I was younger. He said he was on the west side of Salt Lake (west valley I guess its called now) and he and two of his neighborhood friends were playing outside and saw moving disks in the sky. They were fairly large from the ground they seemed to be the size of a quarter but it was impossible to tell how far away they were because they were trasparent. They hovered in the air and moved erraticly and changed colors (red orange) for a bout 5 minutes. Its unknown from which direction they came but they sped away past the foothills and mountains where they could no longer be seen.

Description of object /s : Several lights moving in a V pattern swooped quickly across the sky. They left, returned, hovered in the same V formation, and left.
My experience Sighting Event Details: My boyfriend and I were watching the sky for meteor showers and observed a group of lights moving quickly across the sky. I was frightened and said, "Go get a camera." By then the lights had flown from our sight ane my boyfriend said something to the fact that they were gone and would not be returning. I agreed and we left it at that. However, within about a half a minute the lights returned, hovered for a moment, and then left. We called radio stations to see if others had witnessed anything. We never heard of anyone else who saw the lights.
