"Alien Drive by"

Sometime in late June or early July, 2001

My aunt delivers papers for the Standard Examiner in Plain City, Utah.

but ...could POSSIBLY have been in West Weber.

Sometime around 4 A.M. she was delivering papers as usual and had her son along with her to help out. It was still very dark and normally this is not a big deal. After dropping a paper into the box she began to drive forward to the next house and noted a late model white pick-up truck coming up behind her. Knowing that the truck would win in the accident that would occur if she pulled out onto the road she waited for the truck to pass.

She claims that everything seemed to be in slow motion at that point. As the truck passed there did not seem to be a driver. However, they have admitted that their attention was drawn more to the passenger.The passenger turned to look into the car. She says it was not a natural movement, it seemed to turn it's entire body to watch them as it passed instead of just turning its head. Like it was encased in some type of suit the movement was so unnatural she says it was like it was wearing a full body scuba suit or a suit of armor that was difficult to move about in.

Silhouetted in the street light a few yards up she saw no sign of hair on it's head that seemed larger than normal, but at the same time it was darker than the darkness around it. Even as the truck passed under the streetlight the figure was still dark.

The truck then turned onto a road that she claimed to be a dead end OR a long road with no turn off, (though I cannot confirm this for myself) all this happened within a time space of about 30 seconds. She dropped a paper into the next box and the hesitantly turned down the same street to find that the truck was gone. No taillights and nowhere for it to have turned off the road. It hadn't turned around and come back in the other direction and a quick inspection of each driveway on the street proved no white late model pick-up truck.

She is still spooked by this experience and her son refuses to talk about it. Though we harmlessly tease him about having a "Close Encounter" that night. He just shakes his head and tells us not to remind him. My sister mentioned that maybe the passenger in the driverless truck was a Gray (she is a very experienced X-Files viewer, age 12 ;) ) to which my aunt replied to not even suspect this because aliens do not exist. Then my sister said "Well, maybe it was bigfoot then!" To which my aunt replied "It had NO hair. It could not have been bigfoot."

After looking at a map of the Plain City area I see that there really aren't very many possibilities for that dead end road. But I'm not sure which one it was. As far as I know she still delivers the newspaper there, and is wanting to see that late model white pick-up truck again to see if she can identify the passenger, or confirm there was in fact a driver. This happened late summer of 2001.

P.S. I also wanted to note that your website is AWESOME. I had no idea that Utah was such a hotspot, at least not the areas you have listed. I have heard stories of UFO sightings in Monte Cristo located in Ogden canyon from family members throughout my life, but never thought I would hear or read a report on the Wasatch front. This site has made me want to begin taking random pictures and watching the skies!
